Refund and Cancellation Policy
At TasteRoots, your satisfaction matters. We want you to shop with confidence, knowing your spice subscription is flexible and fair.
Subscription Cancellations
- You may pause, skip, or cancel your subscription at any time from your TasteRoots account dashboard.
- Cancellations made before the renewal date will stop the next order from being processed.
- If you cancel after an order has already been packed or shipped, that month’s box will still be delivered, and cancellation will take effect from the following cycle.
Refunds & Returns
- For spice products, due to food safety regulations, we cannot accept returns once packs are opened.
- If you receive an item that is damaged, missing, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at [support@tasteroots.co.in]. We will arrange a replacement or refund.
- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days after approval.
✅ 14-Day Cooling-Off Period (UK Consumer Law)
- As per UK consumer protection law, you have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of your first order and receive a full refund, provided the products are unopened and in original condition.
- This applies only to the first order. Subsequent monthly renewals are not covered by the cooling-off period but remain cancellable anytime for future deliveries.
Important Notes
Allergy Safety → Please read product descriptions carefully. Refunds cannot be offered for allergic reactions unless caused by mislabeling.
- Address Errors → If an incorrect delivery address is entered at checkout, refunds cannot be guaranteed.
- Promo Codes & Gifts → Free samples or discounted first-month subscriptions are non-refundable.
How To Request a Refund
Email us at support@tashanspices.com with:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photo evidence (if item is damaged or incorrect)
✅ This policy balances compliance with UK law, while protecting you against misuse (e.g. people finishing half the packet and then asking for a refund).
